Take an Audit Using a Printer

1. Ensure the changer has a printer loom fitted.
2. Connect a compatible printer or a printer that conforms to the following specification:
a. Has a 15-way, D-type plug.
b. Uses pin 1 for a ground.
c. Receives data on pin 2 at 200 baud, 1 start bit, 8 data bits, no parity bit, and 2
stop bits as RS232 polarity but TTL levels (i.e., 0V and 5V).
d. Sends a busy indication on pin 3 at RS232 levels (i.e., -13V to 0V, +1V to
+13V).
e. Is internally powered or uses pin 9 (24V) from the changer for power
(optional).
3. The changer automatically detects connection of the printer when there is a
temporary indication of BUSY at plug in. This is done automatically on the data
printer. On other printers, you may need to cycle power.
4. When the printer is detected, and the changer is sending data to the printer, it will
display a message. If a message is not shown, check the printer's connections.
Set up a printer ticket

view and configure the following options:
Install Date: Enter the date of installation.
Language: Select the preferred language.
Printout Type: Select the level of detail required in your printout.

Take an Audit Using a DEX Device

Ensure the changer has a DEX loom fitted. This is a
socket. If a printer loom is fitted, then it is possible to fit an adapter (PN: 1654740001) to
convert this into a DEX socket.
The changer will act as a DEX master and send audit information to the handheld. Following
this, the handheld can optionally send any configuration data to the changer. The audit data
conforms to the European Vending Association/National Automatic Merchandising
Association (EVA/NAMA) Data Transfer Standard (DTS).
