Before getting started
• First read chapter „Intended use" and
„Safety notices" (see page EN-4 and the
following).
• Remove the transport safety devices and
prepare the appliance as described in
chapter „Installation, connection and first
use" (see page EN-33).
• Properly attach the water inlet hose (32)
and the water outlet hose (28).

Selecting the cycle

NOTICE
Risk of damage to property!
If the appliance is loaded before a cycle
is selected, the loading sensor does not
work. This may result in overloading the
appliance.
■ Always select the cycle before load-
ing the appliance.
The cycle table shows you the cycle that suits
your type of laundry (see tables 'Standard cy-
cles' from page EN-12; for 'custom' cycle , see
page EN-24).

1. To switch on the appliance, press the
button (5).
All indicators in the display (3) light up
briefly, then only three dashes are visible.

2. Select the cycle using the cycle selector (2).
The display shows (14) for the cycle's pro-
gress; the number field (24) shows stand-
ard values – such as cycle run time, cur-
rent water temperature and spin speed.
