Loading laundry
CAUTION

Improper handling of the appliance
may cause a fi re or a defect.
■ Never try to open the appliance door
with force whilst a cycle is in pro-
gress or once a cycle has ended. Only
open the appliance door once it has
been automatically released approx.
2 minutes after the cycle has ended.
1. Open the appliance door (25) by pulling
the handle slightly forward.
2. Load the laundry.
Keep to the maximum permissible amount
of laundry, do not trap any items of laun-
dry between the appliance door and the
rubber sleeve (31) and follow the tips on
page EN-26.
3. Push the appliance door closed until you
hear it snap shut.
Fill with your chosen
detergent or care product
The dispensing drawer (1) has three com-
partments:
– Dispensing compartment II (left)
Dispensing compartment II is intended for
the main wash.
•
Fill it with powder or liquid detergent or
anti-limescale agent for every wash.
– Fabric softener/starch compartment
(middle)
•
Dispense fabric softener or starch
here according to the information sup-
plied by the manufacturer.
– Dispensing compartment I (right)
Dispensing compartment I is only intend-
ed for prewashes.

Only fill it if you have selected 'Pre-
wash' (see „Cycle adjustments" on
page EN-22).
•
Fill dispensing compartment I with ¼
of the detergent and dispensing com-
partment II with ¾ of the detergent.
We recommend using pre-wash cycles
only for very dirty clothing.

1. Pull out the dispensing drawer (1).
2. Load the dispensing compartments as
described above.
3. Push the dispensing drawer back in after
filling.
