CAB-1 numeric keypad commands for your Interurban Car

W
hen you press AUX1 on your CAB-1, you turn the numeric
keypad into 10 command buttons. The keypad lets you
control extra command features (until you press any top-row
button like SW, ACC, RTE, TR, or ENG). RailSounds sounds
in bold italic.
0
Stops and resets the Interurban Car.
Resets the Interurban Car's direction to
FORWARD. Resets RailSounds to auto-
matic RPM operation. Horn blows.
Fan blower RPM's return to
automatic.

Raises the volume of RailSounds.
Sound volume increases.

Activates two-part CrewTalk
messages. Press 2 at a stop or at slow
speeds to hear the conductor yell, "All
aboard!" Press 2 at higher speeds, and
the conductor asks for tickets.
CrewTalk messages.

Raises the RailSounds fan blow level.
Starts up RailSounds. Fan blower
RPM's increase. Start-up
sequence commences.

Lowers the volume of RailSounds.
Sound volume decreases.

Activates the RailSounds shutdown
sequence. Just like the real thing, your
Interurban Car's fan blower sounds
must be at idle for shutdown to
occur. Press 6 repeatedly to lower the
fan blower sounds until they won't
descend further. Your locomotive is
now at idle. Press 5 to initiate the
shutdown sequence, following the
CrewTalk sound. CrewTalk sounds,
Shutdown commences.
Remember, the horn, bell, and fan
blower sounds will not sound until you
restart RailSounds.

Lowers the RailSounds fan blower
RPM level. Fan blower RPM's
decrease.

TowerCom is an audible announce-
ment that includes that engine's road
number and/or name. There is a four
second delay in this function.

Turns M.U.'s cab interior light off.

Turns M.U.'s cab interior light on.
