  • Page 3 Lionel-compatible track. (O-27 minimum radius) Power up your Inspection Vehicle with your transformer. • Your Inspection Vehicle is designed to operate on 10-15 volts. Virtually all Lionel and Lionel-compatible AC or DC transformers are suitable. Move ‘em out! • Get your Inspection Vehicle moving. The vehicle will initially start in for- ward or reverse. To sequence the reversing unit, press the direction button on your transformer, or turn the throttle OFF and back ON again until you are moving in the desired direction.

When the reversing unit senses an interruption in track power, it will cycle into the next direction in the sequence. The sequence is forward, reverse, forward, reverse, etc.

  • Page 6: Lubricating The Pullmor Motor Armature

    Inspection Vehicle will require the occasional lubrication of its Pullmor motor armature. Refer to Figure 3 for the location of the armature. If you hear excess noise during operation, or if the Inspection Vehicle slows intermittently, you may need to oil the top armature bearing as illustrated in Figure 4.
  • Page 7 Inspection Vehicle Replacing your lamps our Lionel Inspection Vehicle is illuminated by two lamps. During the course of normal opera- tion, they may require replacement. Begin by removing the shell. Unscrew the body retaining screw that holds the body to the frame.

    Lionel L.L.C. or an authorized Lionel L.L.C. Service Center, together with proof of original purchase will, at the option of Lionel L.L.C., be repaired or replaced, without charge for parts or labor. In the event the defective product cannot be repaired, and a replacement is not available, a refund of the original purchase price will be granted.
