Warranty terms and conditions

The warranty term starts on the sale date your electric wheelchair. If you electric wheelchair develops a defect
within the warranty period, it will be repaired or replaced. You do however need to provide a filled in Warranty
Registration card or copy of the bill with sale date. WIthout a Warranty Registration card or dated proof of sale, the
warranty term will start on the date Van Os Medical sent the bill to your dealer.
Repairs and replacements need to be executed by an authorised Van Os Medical dealer. To apply for warranty,
your wheelchair needs to conform to a required level of care. Additionally, when any problem occurs, you need
to contact your Van Os Medical dealer immediately and tell him about the details of the problem. If you use the
wheelchair outside of the area of that Van Os Medical dealer that should execute the warranty service, then the
repairs can be done by any other factory appointed dealer.
When a part of the electric wheelchair needs to be repaired or replaced within the applicable warranty term, caused
by a factory or material mistake, while the wheelchair is still owned by the first owner, the affected part or parts will
be repaired or replaced by the authorised dealer.
Warranty does not cover labour costs made with repair or replacement. Every repaired or replaced part is covered
by the same warranty terms as the full product. Parts that are prone to wear and tear normally are not covered by
the warranty unless these parts show wear as a direct result of factory error.
