The VIA P4XB-R and VIA P4XB-S mainboards require an ATX power supply
for powering the system. Before inserting the power supply connector, always
make sure that all components are installed properly to ensure that no damage
will be caused.
ATX 20-Pin Power Connector: JWR1
This connector is for the ATX power supply. To connect to the ATX power
supply, make sure the plugs of the power supply are inserted in the correct
orientation and the
pins are properly
aligned. Then, push
down the power
supply firmly into
the connector. The
power connector
supports an instant
power on function,
which means that
system will boot up
immediately when
the power supply
connector is in-
serted on the mainboard.
ATX 12V Power Connector: JPW1
This 12V power connector is used to provide power to the CPU.
