Installing a New Ethernet Cable

If the Ethernet cables that connect the Mx computer to the receivers is too short, you
can replace it by a longer Ethernet cable.
The new Ethernet cable must have the following specifications:
• Category: cat. 5e minimum
• Length: 100 meters maximum
• Shielding: U/FTP
When replacing the cable, you need to install an Ethernet connector on the cable end
that is connected to the receiver. The Ethernet connector kit is included in the product
package.
To know how to install the Ethernet connector to the new cable, refer to the assembly
instructions included with the Ethernet connector kit.

Configuring the Receivers

You need to update both Mx receivers to make them compliant with an M6 system.
In this procedure, the Mx receivers are called receiver 1 and receiver 2. It is up to you to
choose which is 1 or 2.
