5 Operation | 5.5 Changing default values

5.5 Changing default values

The default values set at the factory can be changed within a given range. If
the selected activity is free application, the values can be set freely.
The following values can be changed:
▪ Maximum speed
▪ Torque limit
▪ Coolant flow rate
▪ Direction of motor rotation
▪ Transmission ratio
4 Press the arrow keys to select the desired value.
ð The selected value is shown highlighted.
4 Press the plus and minus keys to set the desired value. The step width de-
pends on the transmission ratio and the range of values.
ð Changed values are stored automatically.

5.5.1 Setting the maximum speed

4 Press the arrow keys until the speed display is highlighted.
4 Press the plus and minus keys to set the maximum speed. The step width
depends on the corresponding transmission ratio setting of the surgical mo-
tor.
ð Changed values are stored automatically.

5.5.2 Setting the torque limit

NOTE
The EXPERTsurg LUX reduces the power to prevent the maximum torque set-
ting from being exceeded. This may lead to the motor coming to a standstill if
the rotating handpiece is blocked. There is an audible signal as soon as the
maximum torque is reached.
4 Press the arrow keys until the torque display is highlighted.
