Basic Operations

This section explains how to operate the scanner.

This section explains how to power on/off the scanner.

Normally, when the following cables are connected, the scanner is turned on/off in sync with the

computer's power.

● Connect the USB cable to a USB port on the computer.

● Connect the power cable to the AC outlet or the USB bus power cable to a USB port on the

computer

When the computer is turned on, the scanner is turned on and the power LED lights in green.

ATTENTION

● If the scanner is not turned on when the computer is turned on, press the [Power] or [Scan]

button to turn on the scanner.
