BIOS Setup
UR2 Duplex Mode
Set the operating mode of IR transmission/reception. Under Full Duplex
mode, synchronous, bi-directional transmission/reception is allowed.
Under Half Duplex mode, only asynchronous, bi-directional transmis-
sion/reception is allowed. Settings: Full and Half.
Onboard Parallel Port
This specifies the I/O port address and IRQ of the onboard parallel port.
Settings: Disabled, 378/IRQ7, 278/IRQ5 and 3BC/IRQ7.
Parallel Port Mode
Set the parallel port mode. To operate the onboard parallel port as Stan-
dard Parallel Port, choose "SPP." To operate the onboard parallel port in
the EPP mode, choose "EPP." By choosing "ECP", the onboard parallel
port will operate in ECP mode. Choosing "ECP + EPP" will allow the
onboard parallel port to support both the ECP and EPP modes simulta-
neously. Settings are:
SPP : Standard Parallel Port
EPP : Enhanced Parallel Port
ECP : Extended Capability Port
ECP + EPP: Extended Capability Port + Enhanced Parallel Port
ECP Mode Use DMA
ECP utilizes a DMA channel. This field is only available if Parallel Port
Mode is set to "ECP". Select DMA channel for ECP use. Settings: 1 and
3.
Game Port Address
Set I./O port address for onboard game port. Settings: Disabled, 201 and
209.
Midi Port Address
Set I./O port address for onboard midi port. Settings: Disabled, 330 and
300.
Midi Port IRQ
Set an IRQ for the onboard midi port. This field is only available if midi
port is not "Disabled". Settings: 5 and 10.
