Air Pump

The air pump will come with 6mm black nylon tubing. This tubing will
attach to the fitting located at the tip of the pump and to the back of
the machine with the nozzle labeled "air in". Lastly, plug the air pump
into the electrical outlet.

Air Compressor

The purpose of the air compressor (shown in Figure 4a) is to blow air through the laser head therefore blowing
debris and smoke away from the beam, while allowing for cleaner cuts and protecting the lens. The air compressor
on/off switch should also be close by and preferably on the same circuit as the water chiller and exhaust fan to ensure
its operation when running the laser machine. The air compressor will come with a fitting that will be located in the
toolbox; it should look like the picture below (these fittings can be a variation of colors):
Note: To prevent water build up in the hosing to the air nozzle, we recommend either draining the water of the air
compressor after every use and/or purchasing a water/air separator.

Setting Up Your Air Compressor

Remove your Air Compressor from the crate and remove all contents from the box. After removing your air compressor
and any components within the box, take an adjustable wrench and use it to take off the gold quick disconnect on the air
compressor, as shown to the right.
Now, take the 6mm air compressor fitting located in your toolbox and attach it to the same
port that you remove the gold quick disconnect from. You may need to wrap Teflon tape
around the threads of the air compressor fitting prior to screwing it into the air
compressor. Use your adjustable wrench to ensure the fitting is secure and snug, be careful
not to overtighten.
After you have changed the fitting, remove the 6mm nylon tubing from the toolbox and
plug it into the air compressor fitting we just installed. Once that is complete, take the
other end of the 6mm nylon tubing and plug it into the "Air In" port located on the back
side of the machine.
To ensure the longevity of your air compressor, it is recommended that you empty the air out of the compressor after
each use. The air sitting in the tank can create moisture, causing rust within the air compressor, shortening its lifespan.
