Safety Interlocks

There are two safety interlocks on your Boss Laser LS machine, both of these interlocks are installed under the hood of
the machine. When the hood is closed, the interlock switch will be pushed down, closing the circuit, and enabling the
machine to work normally. When the hood is open, the safety interlock switch will be disengaged, opening the circuit,
making the machine inoperable and will not allow the machine to output the laser beam. Examples of these circuits can
be seen below.

Key Control (Master Switch)

The master switch is installed as part of the control panel. The master switch controls the neutral line of the main
circuit. When this switch is turned off, the machine is powered down.
