3.7. Power Output

The module supports output of regulated voltages for peripheral circuits. In applications, it is
recommended to use a 33 pF and a 10 pF capacitor in parallel in the circuit to suppress high-frequency
noise.

3.8. Charging Interface

The module supports battery charging. The battery charger IC in the module supports trickle charging,
constant current charging and constant voltage charging modes, which optimize the charging procedure
for Li-ion batteries.
Trickle charging: There are two steps in this mode. When the battery voltage is below 2.1 V, a 90 mA
trickle charging current is applied to the battery. When the battery voltage is charged up and is
between 2.1 V and 3.4 V, the charging current can be set to 400 mA maximally.
Constant current mode (CC mode): When the battery is increased to 3.4 to 4.2 V, the system will
switch to CC mode. The maximum charging current is 1.85 A when an adapter is used for battery
charging, and the maximum charging current is 450 mA for USB charging.
Constant voltage mode (CV mode): When the battery voltage reaches the final value 4.35 V, the
system will switch to CV mode and the charging current will decrease gradually. When the battery
level reaches 100 %, charging is completed.
