4) If the insulator has been ruptured, it must be scrapped. If you want to use the spark plug again, use
clean the spark plug.
5) Measure the spark plug clearance with a feeler gauge, and the spark plug clearance should be 0.6-0.7mm
(0.024-0.028 in)
6) Install the spark plug carefully. Be careful of the thread dislocation.
7) After installing a new spark plug, tighten it about 1/2 turn around with a wrench and press the gasket back. If it is a
used spark plug that still works well after inspection, tighten it with a wrench about 1/4 to 1/8 turn around with a
wrench after relocating
8) Reinstall the anode cap.
9) Re install the top maintenance cover
The spark plug must be firmly installed, otherwise the spark plug will become too hot and
damage the generator
Do not use the spark plug with different heat value.
Maintenance of Muffler Fireproof Net
Dirty muffler will affect the muffler effect of the generator and the power of the engine. To ensure the normal operation of
the generator, please clean up the muffler fireproof net regularly. If you use the generator in a particularly dirty place, you
need to clean it up frequently. Replace the muffler fireproof net if necessary.。
You must shut off the generator to clean the muffler fireproof net.
Make sure the engine is shut down, otherwise the high-temperature muffler might cause burns.
a. Remove the outlet cover plate screws, open the outlet cover plate.
b. Remove 2 screws on the muffler fireproof net.
c. Remove the muffler fireproof net as the direction on the picture followed.
d. Take out and check the fireproof net. Clean or replace the fireproof net if necessary.
e. Clean or replace the fireproof net and then follow the opposite action to install the outlet cover plate back.
