It can support as motion master (axes control) or pure I/O master. Data exchange and memory allocation in EtherCAT communication can be executed auto- matically by the PCM-26R1EC series. You can benefit from EtherCAT’s high-perfor- mance communication features without having to handle the complicated EtherCAT communication protocol.
Driver Installation We recommend you install the driver before installing the PCM-26R1EC card in your system. The DLL driver setup program for the card can be downloaded from Advantech's offi- cial website.
It should be free of marks and scratches and in perfect working order when received. As you unpack the PCM-26R1EC, check for signs of shipping damage (damaged box, scratches, dents, etc.). If it is damaged or it fails to meet specifications, notify our service department or your local sales representative immediately.
