Service provider settings frequently

change. If your email account was
working but you are currently
experiencing problems, check with your
service provider to see if any of the
account settings have changed.
I have problems sending and receiving
email
Short periods of time when email is
unavailable are common due to server
problems or poor wireless coverage. If you
have problems sending or receiving mail
for an extended period of time, check with
your ISP or email service provider to verify
that the service is working properly.
Scheduled email synchronisation is not
working
If email synchronisation is occurring and
you turn your smartphone off or the
connection to your email service provider is
disconnected, the synchronisation fails.
Check the synchronisation schedule to

make sure that email sync is set to
occur at the expected day and time. See
Setting the synchronisation schedule for
details.

I have problems sending email
If you are able to receive email messages
but cannot send them, try the following

Make sure your ISP or email provider

allows you to access email on a
smartphone. Some providers do not
offer this option at all; other providers
require an upgrade for accessing email
on a smartphone.
