4.3.1
Rotate display
If you need to rotate the local operator interface (LOI) or LCD display after it has been
installed on the transmitter, complete the following steps.
Procedure
1. Secure the loop to manual control and remove power to transmitter.
2. Remove transmitter housing cover.
3. Remove screws from the display and rotate it to the desired orientation.
4. Re-insert screws.
5. Reattach transmitter housing cover.
6. Re-attach power and return loop to automatic control.

Explosions
Explosions could result in death or serious injury.
Before connecting a handheld communicator in an explosive atmosphere, ensure
that the instruments are installed in accordance with intrinsically safe or non-
incendive field wiring practices.
a) Insert 10 pin connector into the display board for the correct orientation.
Carefully align pins for insertion into the output board.
Ensure that the cover is fully engaged to comply with explosion-proof requirements.
