Connect Using Near Field Communication (NFC)
Connecting the mobile phone or tablet to the system with Bluetooth using NFC enables users to play
the audio from calls or media, such as music or videos, on the system. Where Near Field
Communication (NFC) is available and enabled on the Trio, connections via a Bluetooth-capable
mobile phone or tablet that also uses NFC may be used.

Enable NFC for Bluetooth in the settings on the device (mobile/tablet).

Play Audio from a Bluetooth Device
The Trio can be used as a Bluetooth speaker for music or videos that are played on your mobile phone
or tablet. On the device:
1.
Connect the mobile phone or tablet with the system.
2.
Choose the music or video you want to hear.
3.
Select the Trio system when prompted to choose the audio device.
The audio plays through the system's speakers.
USB Cable Connections
You connect your laptop, mobile phone, or tablet directly to the system using a USB cable or a micro USB
cable. When you connect your device to the system, you can use it as a speaker for audio calls or media
played on your device. See the section
on the system.
Connection Requirements
Before you connect your laptop to the RealPresence Trio 8800, make sure your laptop meets the
minimum hardware and software requirements shown in the following table.
