• Make sure the hose complies with current regulations.
• Avoid areas with heat emission.
• Avoid bending or pinching the hose.
• The connections on both sides (gas valve and other components)
must comply with the national regulations.

2.6 Electrical connections

The unit must be connected to a
grounding system in compliance with
the applicable safety regulations.
Have the efficiency and suitability of
the grounding system checked by
professionally qualified personnel;
the manufacturer declines any liabil-
ity for damage caused by failure to
ground the system.
The unit's power cable must never be replaced by the user. If the cable is
damaged, turn off the unit and contact the authorized Technical Assistance
Service to have it replaced.
For replacement, use exclusively HAR H05 VV-F 3 x 0.75 mm
with maximum ext. diameter of 8 mm.

2.7 Air and fume ducts

The unit is "C type" with sealed chamber and forced draught.
The air inlet and fume outlet must be connected to the ex-
haust/intake systems specified below.
The unit is type-approved to work with all the Cxy flue configurations
given on the technical data plate (some are illustrated in the exam-
ples provided further on).
However, some configurations may be expressly limited or not per-
mitted by local laws, rules or regulations.
Before proceeding with installation, check and carefully observe the
above-mentioned prescriptions.
Also, comply with the provisions on the positioning of wall and/or roof
terminals and the minimum distances from windows, walls, ventila-
tion openings, etc. see Section 2.2

For coaxial connection, fit the unit with one of the following starting acces-
sories. For the wall hole measurements, see Section 4.1. The fume
exhaust horizontal sections must slope slightly towards the outside to pre-
vent any return of condensate to the unit.
