Connecting to COM2

Using the CPU personality module, you can configure the COM2 port as RS-232, RS-485 (4-wire), or
RS-485 (2-wire) communications.
When connecting COM2 to an RS-232 port on another device (a PC or another controller/RTU) use
a cable with configurations as shown in
Figure 2-23. COM2 Configured as RS-232
