There are no user serviceable parts inside this unit. Do not attempt any repairs yourself, as
doing so will void your manufacturer's warranty. Damages resulting from modifications to
this fixture and/or the disregard of safety instructions and guidelines in this manual void
the manufacturer's warranty and are not subject to any warranty claims and/or repairs.
•
Do not plug this fixture into a dimmer pack!
•
Never open this fixture while in use!
•
Unplug power before servicing!
•
Never touch the fixture during operation, as the surface of the fixture may be hot!
•
Keep flammable materials well away from the fixture!
•
Ensure all connections and end caps are properly sealed with dielectric grease (available
at most electrical supply stores) in order to prevent water corrosion and/or short circuiting.
•
If the fixture is exposed to environmental temperature changes, such as a relocation from a
cold outdoor setting to a warm indoor setting, do NOT power the fixture on immediately! In-
ternal condensation resulting from environmental temperature changes can cause internal
fixture damage. Leave the fixture powered off, and allow the fixture to reach room tempera-
ture before switching the power on.

Never look directly into the light source! Doing so presents a serious risk of retina injury,
and can result in blindness! Sensitive persons may also suffer an epileptic shock!
•
Ensure that the power outlet is rated for the same voltage that your unit requires.
•
Do not attempt to operature this unit its the power cord is frayed or broken.
•
Do not attempt to remove or break off the ground prong from the electrical cord. This prong is
used to reduce the risk of electrical shock and fire in the event of an internal short.
•
Disconnect from power before making any type of connection.
•
Do not remove the cover for any reason. There are no user serviceable parts inside.
•
Never operate this unit with the cover removed.
•
Always mount this unit in an area that will allow for proper ventilation. Allow about 6" (15cm) be-
tween this device and any nearby walls.
•
Do not attempt to operate this unit if it has been damaged in any way.
•
Always mount this unit in a safe and stable manner.
•
Power supply dcords should be routed so that they are not likely to be walked on or pinched by
items placed upon or against them, paying particular attention to cords at plugs, convenience re-
ceptacles, and the point where they exit from the device.
•
Cleaning - The fixture should be cleaned only as recommended by the manufacturer. See the
Cleaning section of this manual for details.
•
Heat - This fixture should be situated away from heat sources such as radiators, heat registers,
stoves, or other appliances (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
•
The fixture should be serviced by qualified service personnel when the appliance does not appear
to operate normally or exhibits a marked change in performance.
