pulse counter.

The binary inputs of the REM 543 machine terminals are voltage-controlled and opti-
cally isolated. For technical data of the binary inputs, please refer to the section "Tech-
nical Data".

Filter time of a binary input

The filter time removes debounces and short disturbances on a binary input. The filter
time is set for each binary input of the REM 543 machine terminal. The operation of
input filtering is illustrated below.
