Service

When the machine terminal is used under the conditions specified in section "Technical
data", it is practically maintenance-free. The machine terminal electronics include no
parts or components subject to abnormal physical or electrical wear under normal oper-
ating conditions.
If the terminal fails in operation or if the operating values considerably differ from those
mentioned in the machine terminal specifications, the terminal should be overhauled.
Minor measures can be taken by the personnel in the customer's instrument work-shop,
but all major repairs involving the electronics are to be taken by the manufacturer.
Please contact the manufacturer or his nearest representative for further information
about checking, overhaul and recalibration of the terminal.
Note! To achieve the best possible operation accuracy, all parts of a REM 543 product
have been calibrated together. Thus, each product forms a whole for which no separate
spare parts can be supplied. In case of malfunction, please consult your relay supplier.
If the machine terminal is required to be sent back to the manufacturer due to malopera-
tion, it is essential that the Customer Feedback form, including especially the Service
Report part, is carefully filled in and enclosed with the terminal.
