Measurement functions

The measurement function blocks are documented on the CD-ROM "Technical
Descriptions of Functions" (1MRS750889-MCD).
The measurement functions available for REM 543:

Control functions

Control functions are used to read the status information of switching devices, i.e. cir-
cuit breakers and disconnectors.
Control functions are also used to execute open and close commands for controllable
switching devices of the switchgear. The control function libraries provide control
objects for circuit breakers and disconnectors, indication objects for switching device
indications, on/off switching objects for control logic purposes and miscellaneous
objects for data monitoring, etc.
The indication objects on the local display can be configured. The display is a graphic
display and the MIMIC configuration picture can be designed by the user. For more
information about the MIMIC configuration, refer to section "MIMIC configuration".
