Define the Basic System Setup

Miscellaneous Setup

Select this function to define your system's basic set up
items.
System Setup
Basic System
Item
Institution name
Type the name of your hospital, clinic, etc. as you
want it to appear on printed reports. On most reports
the institution name appears at the top.
Text entry
Select Uppercase only to type text in uppercase
letters.
Select Upper and lowercase to type text in upper and
lowercase letters.
Speaker volume
Select Low to set the system's speaker to low volume.
Select High to set the system's speaker to high
volume.

Item
External video
Select Option 1 to enable this port. Most remote
port
monitors function using Option 1. Otherwise, select
Option 2.
Information line
Select Yes to enable the help information line on the
screen.
Cart number
Type a number that identifies this system.
Site number
Type a number from 1-32 to identify where the data
will be stored in the MUSE CV system.
Location number
Type a number to identify the location of this system
to a MUSE CV system. Use a value from 1-99 for
MUSE CV systems using software version 002B-004
or 3A/CLM-1B. Use a value from 0-599 for a MUSE
CV system using software version 4A or later.
File Manager
Select the sorting method your system uses to display
sort
stored ECGs.
Delete after
Select Yes to delete an ECG after transmitting it to a
transmit
receiving device.
Text on bottom
Select Yes to print the ECG test information on the
bottom of the ECG reports.
