Warning and safety instructions

This user manual concerns the Poweo
S16068, equipped with an aluminum structure and the Quick Up suspension.
This user manual contains important safety instructions and information concerning
the use of the Poweo
Carefully read the manual before using the lifters.
The Poweo
®
140 Quick Up is designed and manufactured in order to safely transfer
patients up to 140 kg and up to 180 kg with the Poweo
weight, do not use this lifter. Contact SCALEO Medical, for advice on the best lifter
that satisfy your transfer needs.
It is NOT recommended to use others type of suspensions from others manufacturers
than the ones recommended for SCALEO Medical patient lifters. SCALEO Medical
refuses any liability in the case of an incident while using slings or other than those
made especially for their lifters.
Rigid stretchers and weighing systems are not compatible with the Poweo
Quik Up.
Avoid transferring patients on thick carpeted floors. Ragged surfaces and any
obstacles may block the wheels. If the force is too important, the lifter could be
destabilized and can tip over, especially if the lifter is being used with maximum
weight capacity. In these cases, we recommend that you open the legs (if needed)
before the transfer.
Torn, cut, frayed or broken foams can fail, resulting in serious injury to the patient
and/or to the user. Only use the Quick Up suspension in good condition.
The Poweo
®
must NEVER be used to transfer, lift or transport people over slopes.
