Maintenance and functional faults

7.1 Maintenance

7.2 Rectifying functional faults

Fault description
The diaphragm rupture

Rinse the interior of the liquid end, see

Disconnect the supply voltage and flush the exterior surfaces of the pump
with a surge of water at atmospheric pressure.
Check the surfaces and seals for scratches and deposits, see .
Check the seals of the hygienic valve and replace them if in doubt, referring
to the appropriate chapter "Spare parts lists" and .
The O-rings can age faster than usual when exposed to high thermal loads.
In extreme cases, particles can enter the feed chemical, which can be
avoided by the prompt replacement of the O-rings.
