Communications
When the NICO-Esprit Interface option is installed, the RS-232
communications port is configured for all communications functions in the
following manner:
Ventilator RS-232 Communications Port Settings

NOTE: The NICO-Esprit Interface option uses the communications port on the
ventilator exclusively. The NICO-Esprit Interface option and the RS-232
Communications Option 2 cannot be installed on the same ventilator.
Once the software is loaded on the Esprit ventilator the necessary hardware
can be attached.
1. Attach the NICO monitor to the NICO bracket, then attach the
assembly to the ventilator. Assembly instructions for the bracket and
monitor are included with the bracket.
