Troubleshooting and customer service

12.1

General troubleshooting

The unit has been manufactured using state-of-the-art production methods and has been tested several
times to ensure that it works properly. However, in the event that malfunctions should occur, the unit should
be checked against the following list. Please inform your dealer if the unit is still not working correctly after all
of the functional checks have been performed.
Malfunction
The heat pump does
not start or switches
itself off
Heat pump does not
produce enough power
Hot water preparation
needs more time
Loud flow noises in the

Heat pump is no longer

Possible causes
Power failure, under-voltage
Defective mains fuse/main switch
turned off
Damaged power supply cable
Power company off-period
Operational temperature limits too low
or too high
Source / primary side has too little
system pressure
STB (safety temperature limiter) of the
heating element on the heat pump
module has tripped
Source / primary side has too little
system pressure
Router switched on / functioning?
Remedial measures
Check the voltage and, if necessary,
wait for it to come back on
Exchange mains fuse, master switch on
Repair by specialist firm
Wait until the power-company off-period
is over and the heat pump starts up as
required
Observe temperature ranges
Check MAG (diaphragm expansion
vessel) primary side, check bleeding
valve / safety valves
Operate pressure switch via the front of
the heat pump module
Check MAG (diaphragm expansion
vessel) primary side, check bleeding
valve / safety valves. Top up water per
VDI2035
router been replaced? Reconnect
router with SC-Touch Display
Disconnect WLAN-USB dongle and re-
insert, if necessary disconnect power
and restart
