SQW 400, LWM or HTS series as a possible powerful option for heating larger buildings, e.g. apartment
buildings.
Since heat pumps are limited in both end temperature and power (peak load), the overall system of the
n
MWL 35 Modular Residential Heat Pump is an excellent solution to this challenge.
n
This is a 2-pipe system that is fed constantly at 20 °C from a source buffer tank.
n
The source heat pump is operated in monoenergetic design.
n
The continuous operation of the built-in heating cycle pump ensures that a constant temperature of the
source heating water is present at the inlet of the MWL 35 modular residential heat pump.
n
The MWL 35 can thus realise higher hot water temperatures (with e.g. 45 °C) with a comparatively low
energy expenditure. User-defined hot water temperatures can be conveniently programmed via the heat
pump manager.
The following table shows an initial overview of which REMKO heat pumps can be used as source heat gen-
erators - depending on the installed MWL 35.
Example: For 10 residential units and thus 10 installed MWL 35 heat pumps, a WKF 130 Duo would be
selected as the source heat pump.
