To remove and replace front panel assembly parts

Remove the front panel assembly as described in the previous section.
Front Panel Clutches
This step will ruin the clutches. You will have to replace them with new ones.
W A R N I N G
Use a thin item such as a ribbon to protect the oscilloscope from scratches,

and pull on the dark gray plastic clutches to pop them off of the oscilloscope.
Use your fingers to pull off the knobs.

Front Panel Bezel and Front Panel Circuit Assembly
Grasp and pull all of the knobs off of the front panel as shown in the previous

section.
There are two tabs on each side, one tab on top, and one tab on the bottom.

Pop these tabs with your fingers to dislodge the front panel bezel. (Reverse
directions to attach the front panel bezel.)
To remove the front panel circuit assembly, unsnap the board from the deck

as shown below. You may need a flat- blade screwdriver to dislodge the tabs.
