LED Troubleshooting
If any of the front panel LEDs are not working, check these cables:
• The power cable to the front panel
• The USB cable to the front panel
• The backlight connector to the motherboard
If the cables are connected and working properly, but the LEDs are still not
working, then troubleshoot the acquisition assembly to make sure it is working. If it
is, replace the front board of the keyboard assembly. If the LEDs still do not
illuminate, reload the oscilloscope software.
Replace the front board of the keyboard assembly in these cases:
• Only some of the LEDs illuminate
• No LEDs and no knobs work
• The knobs work but the LEDs don't illuminate
When reassembling the oscilloscope, be sure to reinstall all boards that were
replaced, but that were not causing the problem.
