3. Remove two (2) 1/4" screws from Encoder Board.
4. Depress encoder board snaps and remove board.
5. Disconnect the 3-wire UI harness from the UI (User Interface) board by
depressing the tab and lifting it.
6. Push two large plastic retainer clips away from User Interface and lift
board away from console.

Removing the Water Inlet Valve

NOTE: The water inlet valve is replaced as an assembly, which includes
valves, bracket, and faucet.
1. Turn off the water supply to the washer.
2. Disconnect hot and cold inlet water hoses.
3. Complete the steps 1-6 from section Removing the Console.
4. Disconnect the wiring harness from the ACU assembly.
5. Remove the two (2) 1/4" hex-head screws securing the valve assembly
to the top panel.
6. Using needle-nose pliers squeeze plastic retainer together then remove
valve assembly.
