When the tablet is connected to an external monitor or
projector, use the drop-down menu to select the desired
display configuration. This configuration will become the
default configuration until a new configuration is selected.
Available settings:
• Mirror Display
on another monitor or projector - you see the same desktop
on each display. The external monitor will be set to the same
display resolution as the Tablet PC.
• Extended with Monitor Primary
viewing area to include a second monitor as the primary
monitor. The external monitor may be set to a different
display resolution than the Tablet PC.
• Extended with Tablet Primary
area to include a second monitor as the secondary monitor.
The external monitor may be set to a different display resolu-
tion than the Tablet PC.
• Monitor Only

Description
Maintains a fixed brightness level on the display
Uses ALS to maintain a relative brightness
NOTE: For optimal battery life benefits and
viewability from ALS, set the brightness scale
to the mid-point or slightly above. If the setting
is higher than this, you lose some of the bat-
tery-saving benefits while gaining minimal im-
provement in viewability.
