3.9 Power Supply

This power supply can operate at an input voltage from 100 to 240 volts. If replacing, use
the exact same model. New units can be ordered directly from Supermicro or authorized
distributors.
Changing the Power Supply Module
1. Power down the system and unplug the AC cord from the module.
2. Remove the power cables to internal components.
3. Remove the two screws on the back of the power supply and a third from the front of
the power supply, which secures it to the bottom of the chassis. Lift the unit straight out
of the chassis.
4. Carefully insert the new unit into position in the chassis and secure it with the two
screws at the rear of the unit and the third at the front.
5. Reconnect the internal power cables and the external power cord, and replace the
chassis top cover.
6. Turn on the power switch on the power supply.
