3.2 Accessing the System

The CSE-512F-350B1 chassis features a removable top cover, which allows easy access to
the inside of the chassis.

Removing the Top Cover

1. Remove the screws securing the cover to the chassis.
2. Slide the cover toward the rear of the chassis.
3. Lift the cover from the chassis.
Check that all ventilation openings on the top cover and the top of the chassis are clear and
unobstructed.
Caution: Except for short periods of time, do not operate the server without the cover in place.
The chassis cover must be in place to allow for proper airflow and to prevent overheating.
