For double-acting actuators (control function I):
→ Connect working ports A1 and A2 to the respective chamber
of the double-acting actuator.
For safety end positions see Chapter "9.3 Safety end
positions".
Important information for perfect control behaviour!
To prevent the control behaviour in the upper stroke range
from being negatively influenced by a small pressure
difference
▶ Keep the applied supply pressure at least 0.5...1 bar above
the pressure that is required to move the pneumatic actu-
ator into end position.
The control parameters calibrated with the X.TUNE
function are not ideal for larger fluctuations.
▶ Keep the supply pressure fluctuations as low as possible
during operation (max. ± 10%).

Safety end positions
The safety end position after the electrical auxiliary power fails
depends on the fluidic connection of the actuator to the working
ports A1 or A2.
