Information on the rating plate

The rating plate is attached to the top side of the extension arm (towards the wall
bearing or ceiling mount fixture ). For the AC 2000 spring arm: under the cover
of the supporting tube and on the outside of the cover. For the LCH spring arm:
on the top side of the tube profile and under the rear cover.
The illustration shows examples for:
the ACROBAT 2000 spring arm
the ACROBAT LCH spring arm
Serial number
The rating plate indicates the serial number (SN) of the spring arm.
Power supply of the extension arm
The rating plate provides information on the power supply of the individual
spring arms.
Load bearing capacity of the spring arms
For example, 21kg or 176Nm indicates the maximum permissible load
bearing capacity of the spring arm/safe working load (see
page 81
).
Date of manufacture
The digits 1 to 4 of the serial number (SN) indicate the date of manufacture
of the pendant system.
The first two digits indicate the week of manufacture,
e.g. 14 = calendar week 14.
The following two digits indicate the year of manufacture, e.g. 11 = 2011.
The letter in the 5th position indicates the factory, e.g. H = Hünfeld.
The digits following the letter indicate the serial number.
The information and illustrations serve as examples.

Overview of the most important safety instructions

The safety instructions in the following chapters must be adhered to.

2.5.1 Operation

Risk of pendant system crashing because the maximum loading
capacity (payload) has been exceeded
If the maximum permissible loading capacity (payload) is ex-
ceeded, the pendant system or components of the pendant sys-
tem may disengage from the fastening device and crash:
• The maximum loading capacity (payload) of the pendant sys-
tem and components thereof must not be exceeded (see
"Chapter 11, Technical Data, on page 105"
• Do not attach or mount any additional loads to the extension
arm, spring arms, adaptations and end devices.
Collision damage
In case of collision with other appliances, walls or ceilings, the
pendant system can be damaged and important patient care sys-
tems can fail:
• After a collision, the pendant system must be inspected for
damage.
• In case of doubt, contact your supplier.
