Important Information for Safe Use

Intended purpose

The ACROBAT 2000 pendant system is individually equipped; depending on the ver-
sion and equipment, it serves for:
carrying and positioning medial appliances on the adaptions 7 - 9 in the OR, in
intensive care and in the medical environment,
the conveying of media:
electricity and data.
The appliance is suitable for continuous operation.
The pendant system may only be operated by instructed, qualified medical personnel.
The pendant system may only be cleaned and disinfected by instructed hygiene spe-
cialists.
Maintenance work on the pendant system must be carried out by the technical spe-
cialist personnel of the operator in accordance with the applicable instruction docu-
ment.

1.6.1 Incorrect use

The maximum loading capacity of the appliance and its components as specified in
"Chapter 11, Technical Data, on page 105"
Independently of the maximum loading capacity (payload) the optional components
may only be loaded with the maximum weight specified in
Accessories, on page 107"

1.6.2 Contraindications

The ACROBAT 2000 pendant system must not be used close to strong magnetic
fields.
No BF or CF application parts in accordance with IEC 60601-1 may be directly con-
nected to the pendant system.

Ambient conditions for operation and storage

Different conditions are required for the operation and interim storage of the appliance.

1.7.1 Ambient conditions for storage and transport

The following storage conditions apply for storage times of up to 15 weeks:
