Polycom RealPresence Collaboration Server 800s Virtual Edition System

If your server shipment was sent shortly after a new release, the box may contain
two disks. One contains the software installed on the server at manufacturing, and
the other contains the newer version, which was added before shipment but not
installed on the server. In that case, you should use the newer version disk (check
the version number on the label) to install that version of the software.

Examine the contents for damage. Again, if you find damage, file a claim
with the delivery carrier.

Unpack your system and identify each item. Keep all shipping materials in
case you need them later.

Assemble the rails and install the server in the rack.

Connect the power cable(s) to the server(s).

Plug the other end of the cable into a grounded electrical outlet or
separate power source such as an uninterrupted power supply (UPS) or a
power distribution unit (PDU).
