    TPM 156/22 I. GENERAL Description Smoke extraction dampers - SEDM dampers are designed into an inlet or extract smoke ventilation system. The dampers are designed either to close to provide compartmentalization or to open (for fresh air inlet) or to allow removal of the heat and combustible products from a fire in the affected fire zone/compartment.
