Care and maintenance instructions
To keep your dirt disposal running at peak performance, follow these care
procedures:
Part Care frequency
Bags -
Charging Contacts Once every month
Visual Docking
Target
Blower Cover Once every month (remove
inside canister debris from blower cover)
Bin Wash bin as needed
Filter Clean once a week (twice
a week if you have a pet).
Do not wash
Full Bin Sensor Clean every 2 weeks
Front Caster Wheel Clean every 2 weeks
Edge-Sweeping Clean once a month (twice
Brush and a month if you have a pet)
Multi-Surface
Brushes
Sensors and Clean once a month
Charging Contacts
Note: iRobot manufactures various replacement parts and assemblies. If you

Care for more information.
Emptying the bin

Replacement frequency
Bags should be replaced
when prompted by the LED
indicator/app.

Press the bin release
button to remove bin.
Open the bin door to empty
the bin.
Place the bin back in the robot.
Cleaning the filter

Remove the bin. Remove the
filter by grasping both ends
and pulling it out.

Remove debris by tapping
the filter against your rubbish
bin.

Reinsert the filter with the
ridged grips facing out. Place
the bin back in the robot.
Important: The robot will not
run if the filter is not installed
correctly. Replace the filter every
two months.
