M.2 allows for a variety of card sizes, increased functionality, and spatial efficiency. The M.2 slot on the motherboard supports PCIe 3.0 x1 or SATA 3.0 devices in the 2280 and 22110 form factors.
Chapter 3: Maintenance and Component Installation 3.8 System Cooling Fans Four 4-cm heavy-duty fans provide cooling for the system. Fans are hot-swapped and can be replaced without powering down the system. The electrical connections are automatically made when a fan is inserted into its slot. Make sure the chassis cover is only off for a short time and makes a good seal when replaced for the cooling air to circulate properly through the system.
