D10. CAM EXCHANGE - ADJUSTMENT

After the cam exchange you need to check proper timing of the needle side movement (bite
movement). This movement shall happen when the needle is in the top position, not when it is inside
the garment (bottom position).
Ⓑ on the worm-gear Ⓐ,
If timing of the needle side movement is incorrect, loosen the four screws
which is located on the top shaft. Hold the worm-gear and rotate the hand-wheel towards the
operator, move it approx. 2 cm. Tighten one screw on it and check the needle side movement
happens in the top position. If this is not the case, repeat the adjustment until you reach proper
timing. Then tighten the four screws Ⓑ.
