The same barcode has been assigned to multiple patients (3500)

This alert appears when you are sending results to the patient database. It means you
assigned the same R2 barcode number to two different patients in the database.
The images in the R2 system are associated to the patient record in the database by
the barcode number on the separator sheet. When you scan the studies, the R2 system
searches for the patient record in the database that has that barcode and associates the
images to that patient record. If there is more than one patient record with the same
barcode, the system does not know which patient the images belong to.
• Access the database and check the patient records.
• Replace the duplicate barcode number with a new barcode number. Use this new
sheet to scan the case.

The scanner is not responding (1007)

The internal scanner software is not responding to signals from the processing unit.
By power-cycling the system, you can reset the internal scanner software.
