A Recommended distance from wall to nozzle outer edge ~ 1/6 of the vessel diameter. The device should never
be mounted closer than 15 cm (5.91 in) to the tank wall.
1 Use of a weather protection cover; protection from direct sunlight or rain
2 Installation in the center, interference can cause signal loss
3 Do not install above the filling curtain
Internal vessel fittings
Avoid internal fittings (point level switches, temperature sensors, struts, vacuum rings, heating coils,
baffles etc.) inside the signal beam. Pay attention to the beam angle α.
