5. Open a browser window on a PC and enter the IP address from your instrument.
6. Enter the serial number of your instrument into the Factory Password field. Then enter a new password in the New Password field.
Reneter the password. Be sure to remember the new password or record and place it in a secure location. It will be needed each time
the instrument is remotely accessed.
7. A Welcome screen with the instrument menus will appear after you click the Change Password button. See the User manual available
on www.tek.com/manuals for additional operating and fixture information.
Remote control through the API
You can program and control your instrument using API commands. Do the following to access the web UI for the API:
1. Enter the IP address of the instrument into a PC browser window.
2. Then add :5000/api/docs to the IP address. Example: 123.00.1.1:5000/api/docs
3. The web UI for the API will appear.
