VETSCAN SA Work List
With bidirectional communication enabled, the VETSCAN SA will display a Work List on the
Measure Screen for running tests ordered from the Host. The VETSCAN SA Work List will display
the Patient ID, Patient Name, and the Test Type for each ordered test.
Running Tests from the VETSCAN SA Work List
1. Select the test from the Work List.
2. **Use similar formatting and content as found on pg 17). Enter physical characteristics of
the sample (recommended):
Use the drop-down option lists to select gross examination fields for the sample
(Collection Method, Color, and Clarity) for the medical record.
3. Enter specific gravity of the sample (recommended):
Input specific gravity value of the sample, if available, in format 1.0xx. Specific gravity is
often measured using a refractometer.
4. Run analyzer workflow for running SA and/or UA tests.
