VETSCAN SA Host Configuration Settings
The VETSCAN SA can connect to a SA compatible Host system, such as the VETSCAN FUSE,
using a standard class C network. Once connected to the Host system, enabling bidirectional
communication between the Host system and the SA allows the transmission of work orders to
the SA from a software application such as a VETSCAN FUSE enabled PIMS.
SA Host Configurations
Click the Options button under Tools menu and click Network and then Host
1. Enable Send by network port.
2. Input the IP address of the Host into the Remote IP field (If VETSCAN FUSE is being
installed in conjunction with the VETSCAN SA input the VETSCAN FUSE IP address here).
3. Input the Local port of the Host (for the VETSCAN FUSE enter 65000).
4. Input the Remote port of the Host (for the VETSCAN FUSE enter 65100).
5. Enable Auto Send.
6. Press the Connect button.
Once the VETSCAN SA has connected to the Host the connection status will change to
Connected and the Host configurations will be locked for editing until the VETSCAN SA
is disconnected from the Host. Once the VETSCAN SA is disconnected from the Host, the
VETSCAN SA's Host settings can be edited.
